The XML is what you pay for. When the download is up, buy a license, paste the key in License, then export. Polar handles the purchase. Media never leaves your Mac.
What you get
New projects are saved in Movies/Latch. You do not pick a folder. Use Open project… only if an older project lives somewhere else.
Why is there no download yet?
The current build is not notarized. On current macOS that looks like malware, not an install. We will email the list when Gatekeeper can open Latch normally.
Is this the Latch that unlocks doors?
No. This Latch is multicam audio sync for Mac. It lines cameras to a master recording and exports a Resolve timeline. It is not a smart lock or building-access app.
Resolve Auto Align is not working. Will Latch help?
Often. Resolve waveform align is fine on short, distinct clips. Long music, repeated choruses, and unjammed clocks are where it slips. Latch matches each camera to the master recording on your Mac, then exports a Resolve timeline.
Do I need a license to try Latch?
No. When the download is up, synchronize a real job for free. You only need a license when you export the Resolve XML.
Does this run on Intel Macs?
Not this build. It is Apple Silicon only.
Will Latch copy my camera files?
No. It reads them and writes a project file plus local cache. Source media stays where you left it.
